Ivy Causey: Kindergarten
Bonnie Garner: 1st / 2nd Grade
Mrs. Garner has 28 years of teaching experience & serves as SVCS’s vice principal and reading specialist of our school. If your child struggles in this area, you will see their skills soar, as well as their confidence. She has a Master's in Curriculum & Instruction with Reading Emphasis, and a BS in Elementary Education. Her hobbies include oil painting, music and reading. As our Hand Bell Choir instructor, she is able to bring her appreciation & love of music to our students. "Call to Me and I will answer you..." Jeremiah 33:3 is her inspirational verse whenever she seeks wisdom from the Lord. Volunteer work includes being a chorister at church and teaching oil painting class for the community.
Darleen Roche: 3rd / 4th Grade

Mrs. Roche has taught at SVCS for 13 years and her students will end the school year with respect for their classmates, an ability to read, and a love for the Lord. Faith in the Lord inspires her to share His loving kindness with the children. She has a BA in Education and also helps out with the Christmas program. Her hobbies include reading, painting, piano and walking with her dogs. Outside of SVCS, she enjoys playing piano for her church.
Casey Harris: 5th / 6th Grade and Principal
Yvette Chacon: 7th / 8th Grade and Vice Principal
Ms. Chacon has twenty years of teaching experience, fifteen of those teaching history at Sandia View Academy. She is a graduate of the University of New Mexico and has furthered her education at Southwestern Adventist University. She is a fluent Spanish speaker and her hobbies include painting, writing, knitting, Jiu Jitsu and learning new forms of craftsmanship. She is a proud mother of two girls, with who she enjoys learning new things, skills and hobbies.
